Life consists of the repetition of the same things.
We created space for a family to have a meal together.
The dining table, which is made by piling up plates in primary colors, depicts children. The wooden pole standing watching warmly over the children represents a familial mainstay. We attempted to create a dining space, which expresses a repetitive daily routine, and still reminds us of memories of family dining.
This was a group assignment. We were five students together. We repeated discussing materials such as the weight of the plates, vulnerability of the cloth and so on. We endeavored to reach a consensus again and again. Though it was a repetition of trial and error, we could eventually accomplish our assignment together.
